The Hindenberg Air Professional comes in many different designs; with dark, light or coloured dial, on a steel or leather strap, in stainless steel, black, gold and two-tone colour. Common to all versions is a yearly and monthly display at twelve o'clock, the open balance at six o'clock and the internal self-winding movement.

The classic date is found under the dial by means of a rotating disk. This is driven by the movement and moves one place forward at midnight, so that the current date is always visible in the cut-out in the dial.
Screws, and often other steel parts of watches, are blued using controlled oxidation. The refining process achieved by the brief heating not only results in the blue colour of the screws and is considered as being a high-quality and decorative element, but is also an expression of tradition.
Stainless Steel (316L)
Stainless steel bracelets are especially popular because they require only a small maintenance effort, are resistant, and provide a secure grip particularly for larger and heavier models on the wrist.
